Numbers 1 to 5 Stanley View, Douglas, part of the Hutchinson Square camp. Internees mixed brick dust with the oil from sardine tins to make paint, and the camp's cultural department was run by Klaus Hinrichsen, who later became the principal historian of the art made there.
