Culoe De Song was still a teenager when he built 'Webaba' around Busi Mhlongo's voice, from his debut album A Giant Leap on Black Coffee's Soulistic label. It is the record that proved SA deep house had a second generation. Mhlongo, a Maskandi singer, died the following year.
