Larry Heard's track carrying Chuck Roberts' spoken sermon - 'In the beginning there was Jack, and Jack had a groove' - the most quoted piece of text house music ever produced. It names the dancefloor as a place where race, class and sexuality were left at the door, which is what the Chicago and New York rooms actually were.
