Thousands fill King Street in SoHo for a block party outside the Paradise Garage's former home, at the naming of Larry Levan Way. The Garage was a members' club for Black and Latino gay New York, and this is the city finally putting that on a street sign, twenty-seven years after the club closed and twenty-two after Levan died.
