From the end of Boom Shaka's run, two years after their kwaito rendition of Nkosi Sikelel' iAfrika caused a national row and a year before Lebo Mathosa left and the group folded. By this point the production had drifted back toward straight house tempo, which makes the family resemblance obvious.
