Arthur Russell, Dinosaur L's "Go Bang!" and Mancuso's Loft

An excerpt from Matt Wolf's portrait of Arthur Russell, built around the night "Go Bang!" landed at David Mancuso's Loft in the François Kevorkian edit. It connects downtown New York's avant-garde to the dancefloor that house grew out of. The Loft parties were invitation-only, sold nothing, and set the template the Garage inherited.
