Louie Vega and Kenny Dope's Nuyorican Style Mix, a sixteen-minute live-band house record with George Benson playing and singing over it. Masters At Work used the Nuyorican Soul project to put Puerto Rican New York, Latin jazz and house musicians in the same room and record them properly. Almost no house record of the period was made with a band like this.
