Në bulevard u shkrua “35 Y Vlora”, në kujtim të gushtit 1991, kur anija tregtare Vlora e mbushur me 20,000 qytetarë shqiptarë u nis në portin e Barit në Itali, në kulmin e eksodit masiv pas rënies së komunizmit."
