Fundoset Marina e Durrësit? Pallatet zhyten 74 cm

Albanian television reporting on subsidence at the Durrës Marina construction site. A subcontractor claimed the first two buildings had sunk up to 74 cm; the state inspectorate IKMT's own inspection, published 13 May 2026, put it at 28 cm on one eight-storey block and 18 cm on a ten-storey block, and ordered reinforcement works. The two figures come from different sources and should not be conflated. The subcontractor attributed the problem to deep piles not being driven into the sandy coastal ground.
