Boomtown
The story of Boomtown Fair, the immersive theatre-and-music festival that builds an entire city on the Matterley Estate each August, then tears it down. From a 1,000-person gathering in a Gloucestershire forest in 2009 to a 77,000-strong metropolis of districts, sound systems and interactive narrative, told through the official aftermovies, the stage-build films, the sets in the Lion's Den, and the citizens who live inside the tale for five days a year.
