An Egyptian Book of the Dead unrolled at the British Museum

Curators show a papyrus from the British Museum's Book of the Dead exhibition. These funerary rolls were made to order for individual owners from roughly 1550 BCE, with spells copied by scribes and blanks left for the buyer's name.
